Alejandro Gómez Palma

With more than 16 years experience working in the sustainable development and renewable energy fields, his expertise includes energy sector policy analysis, indicator development and planning. Based on his experience in providing strategic and technical assistance to central and local governments in both developed and developing economies, he has co-developed the Public Policy Framework approach for renewable energy development and efficiency management.


He has worked extensively in Latin America and the Caribbean (Argentina, Brazil, Costa Rica and Mexico) and most recently his focus has been Morocco, other MENA countries and South Africa. With studies in the U.S.A., Japan and Mexico, he holds an MPA in Environmental Science and Policy from Columbia University, New York.
